Backstreet Boy Nick Carter will perform Saturday at the House of Blues with more than music on his mind. Carter says, in a statement on his website, that he will dedicate the tour to his sister, Leslie. The younger sibling of Nick died, apparently of a drug overdose, in January.
Why go: After a post-Backstreet Boys successful solo career, then a reunion with the Boys for more music and tours, Carter has finally produced new solo music, his second album, "I'm Taking Off."
Reconsider: If these intermittent solo appearances (New Kids on the Block lead singer Jordan Knight has performed in town recently) are teasers for a NKOTBSB show, let's get on with it.
