CARTER FAMILY: Lohans, Lance Bass, NKOTB Tweet Condolences

The stars are aligning to pay tribute to the late Leslie Carter.

Though she may not have been the biggest star of the Carter family, she nevertheless is getting touchingly remembered by those close not only to her, but to her brothers, Nick Carter and Aaron Carter.

Leading off the tributes is none other than the family of Lindsay Lohan—LiLo, lest we forget, infamously dated Aaron in her early Hollywood days.

"The Lohan family sends there love to the Carter family xo," mom Dina tweeted earlier today.

The same can be said for House of Carters' executive producer, former Backstreet Boys manager and longtime friend and mentor to the 25-year-old

"Leslie was an outgoing and very outspoken girl," Kenneth Crear told E! News exclusively. "When I worked with her while filming The House of Carters, I got to see a side of her I didn't know. She was all about family and she loved her brothers and sisters.

"People also don't know she was a talented singer and had a very amazing voice. I just wish more people had a chance to hear."

He went on to express that he had the rest of her family in his thoughts.

"Nick is like a brother to me," he said. "I love that guy and I have him and his families in prayers. I know how hard this is for him. No matter what, Nick always cared about his family and is one of the most giving individuals I have ever met. This really hurts me and is hard to discuss. God bless the Carter family and may Leslie rest in peace."

Here's a sampling of the celebs who joined him in his thoughts:

• Russell Simmons: "Sending my thoughts and prayers to the Carter family."

• Jonathan Knight: "Thinking of Nick Carter and the entire Carter family."

• Lance Bass: "Thoughts and prayers for my boys @aaroncarter and @nickcarter."

• Naughty by Nature "Condolences to our homies Nick Carter & Aaron Carter on the loss of their sister. R.I.P. Leslie Carter."

Meanwhile, Nick's fellow Backstreet Boys also offered up their condolences and letting well-wishing fans know that all of their messages would be passed on.

"Our hearts are with @nickcarter," the band tweeted. "RIP Leslie Carter…We will definitely send @nickcarter all your condolences and love."

NICK CARTER: Dedicates Tour To His Sister Leslie

(CBS) The show will go on for Nick Carter, as he's not canceling his current tour. Instead the singer will dedicate the outing to his sister, Leslie Carter, who died Tuesday. She was 25.

In a Facebook message to fans, the Backstreet Boy thanked fans for their support, announcing his tour will go on "as promised."

"Performing is cathartic to me and I am dedicating the rest of my tour to my sister since she loved to watch me perform," explained Nick, who plans to perform his scheduled show Thursday night at New York's Irving Plaza.

Nick's brother, Aaron Carter, meanwhile, is expected to take some time off from his New York off-Broadway show "The Fantasticks," reports E!.

Leslie died in upstate New York. No further details about her death have surfaced. She leaves behind a husband and 10-month-old baby.

The Carter family confirmed the news in a statement issued to CBSNews.com on Wednesday: "Our family is grieving right now and it's a private matter. We are deeply saddened for the loss of our beloved sister, daughter, and granddaughter, Leslie Carter. We request the utmost privacy during this difficult time."

LESLIE CARTER: Remembering... Her Five Biggest Moments From E!'s House Of Carters

Much like the stars who have been tweeting their condolences, we here at E! are taking time out to remember Leslie Carter, who tragically passed away on Tuesday.

It's hard to believe it has been six years since the 25-year-old sister of Nick and Aaron Carter entertained audiences in the 2006 E! reality series House of Carters.

To pay tribute to the late aspiring singer, let's take a look back on some of the more memorable Leslie moments from the show.

LESLIE CARTER: Autopsy Completed: What's The Verdict?

We presume the Carter family wants answers.

An autopsy was performed this morning on 25-year-old Leslie Carter, who died suddenly on Tuesday in upstate New York, the Chautauqua County Coroner's Office confirmed to E! News.

What did the medical examiner find?

"There were no visible signs of trauma," coroner Richard Mackowiak said. "We are awaiting a toxicology report to determine a cause of death."

Standard procedure.

"The body has been released to the family," Mackowiak added. "Results of the toxicology test are made public at the discretion of the family."

And, if toxicology in Chautauqua County is anything like toxicology in Los Angeles County, those test results should be ready in about four to six weeks, unless they're ordered expedited for some reason.

Leslie is survived by her 9-month-old daughter, Alyssa Jane; her husband, Mike; her parents; and four siblings, including singers Aaron and Nick Carter.

LESLIE CARTER: Autopsy Complete & Cause Of Death Still ‘Unknown’, Says Coroners Office

HollywoodLife.com spoke EXCLUSIVELY to the Chautauqua County Coroner’s Office in upstate New York on Feb. 1 and they told us her body has been released to a local funeral home. An insider also tells us that Leslie was visiting her father when she died. Read on to find out all the latest details.

Leslie Carter was found dead on Jan. 31 and friends close to the family tell HollywoodLife.com that they are ‘shocked’ by her untimely passing. The Coroner’s Office tells us that it will take four to six weeks until the toxicology report is complete and that’s when we’ll have some answers as to her cause of death.

The younger sister of the Backstreet Boys star Nick Carter was found dead in upstate New York and a source tells us she was visiting her dad. Leslie resided in Canada, which is about an hour and a half away from Chautauqua County, New York, where her dad lived.

The county is so small that they don’t have a medical examiner’s office, so the body was sent to the Erie County Medical Examiner’s Office in upstate New York for the autopsy. Her body has been released to the family so that they can organize her funeral arrangements.

We told you that Leslie leaves behind her 10-month-old daughter Alyssa and her husband of three years, Mike Ashton.

Alyssa’s Twitter handle was titled MomAshton and her about me says: “I’m Leslie, I love being a new mom to our wonderful baby girl Alyssa Ashton, and I have a wonderful husband who takes care of his girls. I couldn’t ask for more.”

Nick says in a statement that he’s thankful to those “who have shared their wishes and prayers during this tragic time,” and that he plans to continue with his tour in NYC “as promised.” “Performing is cathartic to me,” he said, “and I am dedicating the rest of my tour to my sister since she loved to watch me perform.”

Leslie appeared alongside her family on the short-lived E! reality series House of Carters, which ran for eight episodes in late 2006.

AARON CARTER: Speaks Out On Sister Leslie's Death

It's been a tough day for the Carter family.

Aaron Carter, who recently announced he will be temporarily leaving his performing duties in the off-Broadway production of The Fantasticks, has decided to speak out regarding his sister Leslie Carter's death.

"Aaron Carter would like to thank all his fans, friends and especially his cast and crew at The Fantasticks for their outpouring of love and support during this tragic time," the statement says.

"I am with my family spending much needed time together as we deal with this private matter," Aaron shares. "I look forward to returning to my Fantasticks' Family and performing the role of ‘Matt' for all my amazing fans. Again, I request privacy for my family and no further statements will be made at this time. "

An autopsy performed this morning on the 25-year-old, who died suddenly on Tuesday in New York, confirmed that there were "no visible signs of trauma"; the Chautauqua County Coroner's Office is "awaiting a toxicology report to determine a cause of death."

LESLIE CARTER: Rx Drugs Suspected In Death

Leslie Carter was battling an addiction to prescription medication in the days before her death ... and family members believe she died as a result of an overdose.

Sources close to the "House of Carters" reality star tell TMZ ... the 25-year-old sister of Nick Carter had recently moved from Canada to Upstate New York to live with family members while she attempted to kick her addiction.

We're told family members had attempted to rid the home of any prescription medication and were hopeful Leslie was on the road to recovery.

Sources say family members believed Leslie would be OK to stay alone in the home for roughly an hour yesterday while they ran errands ... but when they returned, Leslie was unconscious.

Officials were called to the scene ... but Leslie could not be saved.

We're told Leslie's 1-year-old daughter was not at home with Carter at the time of her death.
