This afternoon, the group Backstreet Boys landed in Santiago for a concert tomorrow will Movistar Arena, and the expected a full house. The quartet now reached the capital around 15.30, on a flight from Argentina, the second season of the South American leg of their tour This is Us, inspired by the album of the same name.
The group comprising Nick Carter, Howie Dorough, Brian Littrell and AJ McLean, following the departure of Kevin Richardson in 2006 - started this new South American tour on February 18 in Recife (Brazil), and last night appeared before a packed Luna Park Buenos Aires, where they showed that the phenomenon who staged a mid-90 remains in force among its followers.
Tomorrow the group will perform accompanied by a DJ who put the foundations of his songs, as happened last night in the trans-Andean capital. There, Backstreet Boys offered a show of about an hour and a half, which began with one of his biggest commercial hits: Everybody. This was followed by other hits from the band, All I Have to give, Shape of my heart, you never will mourn (in Spanish), Incomplete, I Want It That Way and Quit playing games, plus the latest Bye Bye love and PDA.
"The audience responded with enthusiastic shouts, applause, tears and declarations of love were the stars of the night", entered the Argentine portal Pronto.com.ar today.
For tomorrow's concert, the third set after their performances in 2009 and Viña 98, BSB has sold almost all of the nearly 15 000 entries that were on sale (still available at Ticketmaster), so organizers hope the exhibition O'Higgins Park is almost full.
"It's a very cinematic and epic show with the energy needed to make people forget their problems and enjoy two hours of dancing and music," Howie Dorough advanced to the Third on the concert of the group, which in June started a tour planetary New Kids on the Block.
