The Backstreet Boys went into the formaldehyde. Are 18 years older at the time that burst with Everybody but appeared for a press conference in the late afternoon of Friday, at Chevrolet Hall, as if time had stopped. Both in speech and in appearance - clothes, 'I'm boy' ever, wrinkles or think (ok, a lot of makeup), the same faces and boy, come on, an A. J. sporting a baldy. "Our priority was the music and the music remains. Some of us are married with children, but the band is a priority, " said Brian, mischievous style, the funny quartet (quintet before), just hours before rising the stage for the first performance in Northeast Brazil.
Outside the Chevrolet Hall, dozens of girls had held placards and hoped to open the gates. There were the anticipated trintonas who accompanied the group's heyday, but girls under 20 years, who knows why, wanted to see international artists. Meanwhile, Backstreet, friendly, philosophizing about the time that a band lasts until the time expires. "When we started, we wanted to break a barrier. We knew that groups like ours do not last long. And when all is over, people will remember us the strength and willingness to defy fate, "
The recipe for success Nick, Howie D, Brian and A. J. know by heart: communication, love and worship music onstage. "We never wanted to adapt to anything. We are what we are. This is us, " joked A. J. named disc that theoretically justified by their passage Recife. Theoretically, because nobody there wants to know the new song.. "Our fans are crazy in a positive way. They are very loyal. It is a blessing to have fans who love us, but especially our music."
For the public queue that is, the gates of the house will open at 21h, and the show starts at 22:30. Before that, wealthy and ardent groupies enjoy moments near the idols, watch the test and take pictures. And who was willing to go the last hour of the show, still have tickets on sale at the box office...
