BRIAN LITTRELL: Will Attend The Second Annual "Their Stories...Our Quest!"

CARLSBAD ---- The Kawasaki Disease Foundation will host the second annual "Their Stories...Our Quest!" fundraising gala at 5:30 p.m. Sept. 25 at the La Costa Resort and Spa, 2100 Costa Del Mar Road. Kawasaki Disease (KD) is an inflammation of blood vessels throughout the body that primarily affects young children and infants and is the leading cause of acquired heart disease in children. Celebrities, researchers and members of the business community will celebrate advances in the diagnosis and treatment of KD and honor those who have made a difference in the health of children affected by this disease. "American Idol" finalist and TV host Kimberly Caldwell will serve as mistress of ceremonies. Award-winning cinematographer and KD patient Jimmy Garcia will be the keynote speaker. The Jones Revival will provide entertainment. KD parent and Backstreet Boys member Brian Littrell will make a special appearance and perform on stage. This cocktail-attire, red-carpet event will also feature live and silent auctions. Items include luxury vacation packages, spa treatment services, golf packages, entertainment memorabilia, autographed footballs, dining at fine restaurants and more.
