THIS IS US TOUR: Backstreet’s Back…All Right!

Weirder things have happened, but a North American Backstreet Boys tour was nowhere on my radar today. Apparently, they’re prepared to drop a new album called This is Us (sounds a little too much like This is It… jussayin’) and they will be debuting their second single, “Bigger,” on the Bonnie Hunt Show on April 14th. Did I mention you can join them on a cruise?

The Backstreet Boys are um… back, but instead of going for the teenyboppers who once wallpapered their bedrooms with Nick Carter’s face, the original boy band is appealing to its now-adult audience with a tour that makes stops in places like the Napa Valley and various casinos around the country.

As for the cruise:

Nick Carter, Howie Dorough, Brian Littrell and AJ McLean are thrilled to announce the inaugural Backstreet Boys Cruise, a four-day fan appreciation event that will set sail December 9th. Departing from Miami, Florida, fans will not only visit Key West and Cozumel but will be treated to special full performances by the group, Q&A sessions, game show activities, photo sessions with the guys and much more.

Now, I was more of a Hanson girl myself, but if you ever dreamed of being stuck in the middle of the ocean with the Backstreet Boys in 1996, your day has come. Get thee to backstreetboys.com and follow your wildly-beating teen idol-lovin’ heart!
