This June, the boys known as Backstreet will be hitting the road for a tour. The Backstreet Boys announced that starting June 1 in Orlando, Florida (obviously!), they will be kicking off their summer tour in support of last fall's very awesome release This Is Us.
Considering that they have many, many phenomenal songs to pick from in their excellent back catalog of tunes, I am officially declaring this a can't-miss event that I absolutely must see (which will most likely be when they play New York City's Hammerstein Ballroom, unless of course they want to fly me and my MTV News colleague Christina Garibaldi to their acoustic gig in Napa Valley — the complete set of dates can be found at the group's official Web site). Here are the 10 tracks we must hear when they take the stage for the tour!
» "10,000 Promises"
So many promises, so little time. But there should be enough time in their show for this song.
» "Incomplete"
Their set list would be ... well, you get the idea.
» "Inconsolable"
I will be this word if I don't hear this song.
» "All I Have To Give"
They have so much to give and this song on this tour should be one of those things!
» "Show Me the Meaning of Being Lonely"
One word: Tearjerker!
» "Shape of My Heart"
Underrated. So they should always give this song some of the love it deserves.
» "As Long as You Love Me"
Hey guys, we'll still love you as long as you play us this awesome song!
» "Quit Playing Games (With My Heart)"
This song really needs no explanation. It's just kind of amazing.
» "Undone"
Their best song from their most recent album This Is Us.
» "I Want It That Way"
Perhaps the most classic pop song to come out the millennial pop explosion. It's sacrilegious if they don't bust this ditty out.
See you at the show, guys!
Will you go see the Backstreet Boys this summer? What do you hope to hear at the show?
