NKOTBSB: Coming To Philadelphia

A day after giving their initial televised performance on the American Music Awards, New Kids on the Block and Backstreet Boys last week announced their first tour together has been expanded from 12 to 24 dates -- including a stop June 4 at Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia.
Tickets to that show will go on sale 10 a.m. Dec. 11 at http://www.Ticketmaster.com and http://www.Live Nation.com.

The Philly date brings the tour closer than the stop June 12 at Izod Center in East Rutherford, N.J. Tickets to that show, costing $39.85 to $104.35, already are on sale at http://www.ticketmaster.com.

The combined act, known as NKOTBSB, will feature Joey McIntyre, A.J. McLean, Jordan Knight, Howie Dorough, Jonathan Knight, Donnie Wahlberg, Brian Littrell, Danny Wood and Nick Carter.

The group first took the stage together for a medley at the sold-out New Kids on the Block show. Then, at the Nov. 21 AMA's, they sang Backstreet's "I Want It That Way" and NKOTB's "Hangin' Tough."

"Backstreet Boys and New Kids on the Block give us boy band fever at the AMAs!" internet blogger Perez Hilton wrote after watching the bands perform their medley mashup of their combined greatest hits. "We embrace our inner tween! Loved This! Boy Band Dreams do come true!"

"We can't thank our fans enough for their continued support," NKOTBSB said in a joint statement. "The love that everyone has shown to us and to this project is incredible. We can feel the excitement and we won't let the fans down. And with our new and elaborate stage design, there won't be one bad seat in the house. We are truly blessed and are so appreciative to have you all along with us for the ride."

The bands together have sold more than 200 million albums.
