Make fun if you must. But the Backstreet Boys wooed so many girls' hearts (and their measly allowances) in the late nineties that they could sit prettily for the rest of their lives without ever busting another pelvic thrust onstage again. But they have babies now. And they want said babies to sit prettily, too. So they're milking nostalgic women who now earn salaries reuniting for another tour in support of their seventh album This Is Us. (What? You haven't heard it, either?)

Fine by me. Take my money, make me listen to your new songs. I'm on board if it means my girlfriends and I get to go back to junior high for one night and sing along with Nick Carter to "I Want It That Way." If you're with me (c'mon, I know you are), BSB will be at ShoWare Center in Kent on Thursday, August 5 at 7:30 p.m. Tickets go on sale this Friday.
